Born in Honolulu, he was a retired heavy equipment operator for the Operating Engineers Local No. 3, U.S. Navy veteran, and member of Kamauloa O Ka Malamalama Church, Hui Maka’i Motorcycle Club, Leianakahinanoopuna, and Panaewa Hawaiian Homes Land Community Association. Henry Kahsen, 67, of Keaau, died Dec. 28 at the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Born in Chicago, he was a retired steel worker for UNR Levitt. Funeral services will be held at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home on Monday. Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m.; service at 11 a.m. followed by burial at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery No. 2.
